"I am very excited to have the opportunity to get involved with ladies of all ages in our community. From ladies events and learning to ‘get togethers’ or just a coffee. Women's Programming

Kehillat Masada’s recent Ladies Breakfast marked the beginning of our exciting new programme, our Community Education Initiative. This initiative will be made up of a series of events aimed at different groups within our community and will be held regularly over the next year.

The morning began with an outstanding catered breakfast where tables were laden with a delicious variety of food. No less than 200 ladies from various age groups came together and filled the hall ready to listen to the talks. Many attended with friends and family and together they experienced an enjoyable, sociable and informative morning.

Topics ranged from the impact of technology in the modern world, the reality of domestic violence and important aspects of a healthy marriage, to the art of meditation and physical health, fitness and wellbeing. We also heard from successful female entrepreneurs about how they followed their dreams in setting up their careers, whilst balancing their busy lives bringing up children and caring for their families.

The morning epitomised the perfect ladies’ event, where both socialising and learning were made possible. Most of the guests left feeling inspired and enlightened, many of whom expressed their interest and enthusiasm for more such events in the future.

A big thanks to all the speakers and organisers involved, and more importantly to the 200 ladies who made the event such a success!
